STEPCHARGE COIL TEST
Ground Test 1sl 1Disconnect the stator's forward (cylinders thru 8) and rear (cylinders thru 4) 2-pin Amphenol connectors from the power pack2Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and "500"
Isl 3Alternately, connect voltmeter between the stator's forward connector, terminals "A", "B", and a
clean engine groundCrank engine and observe meter at each connection Any reading indicates charge coil is grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly4Repeat Step using stator's rear 2-pin connector5If no reading is indicated in Steps or 4, go to Output TestOutput Test 1Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and "500"
