Ohmmeter TestDiode and Connectors INotel All ohmmeter tests must be performed with the engine not running
1Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale
2Disconnect engine wiring harness connector and 2-pin Amphenol connector between power pack and key switch, and 1-pin Amphenol connector between engine harness and shift switch
[IJ 3Connect ohmmeter red lead to blackyellow terminal in engine harness connector Connect black meter lead to blackorange terminal "A" in 2-pin Amphenol connectorNote reading4Reverse meter connections or press "polarity" buttonNote reading: high reading in one direction and low reading in the other direction indicates diode is good If your test results are different, replace diode or repairreplace engine wiring harness
