QuikStart Electronic Starting This ignition system incorporates QuikStart TMelectronic starting, which automatically advances ignition timing when engine temperature is less than 960 (360 C) and for approximately seconds each time the engine is started, regardless of temperatureOnce QuikStart electronic starting has been canceled by engine temperature, the engine must be turned off before the ignition advance cycle can be repeatedQuikStart electronic starting also incorporates an RPM limit that cancels the ignition advance when the engine speed exceeds approximately 1100 RPMFunctional Test 1Install correct test propeller and start engine in test tankEngine temperature must be above 960 (360 C) before proceedingStop the engineINotel All engine linkage adjustments must be corrected and idle RPM must be normal before proceedingRefer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments, Section 1
