Deutsch Connector Servicing INotel The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same size as Ampheno pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange them
Disconnect Press latchpull connectors apart
Connect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latchedTerminal Removal
Use hook-end of CIVIC Connector Service Tool, PIN 342667, to pullout wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacle
Release terminal latch or
pull on wire
Terminal Installation Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heard
Fill connector with CIVIC Electrical Grease to below ledge or end of plug
