Starter Circuit Check
INote Battery must be fully chargedStep Procedure Remove black lead from ground at G)Connect voltmeter between G) and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at START positionResult aIf no reading, go to Step
Check voltage between ground Steps thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from (j) to prevent starter engagement while making checks
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
II Check voltage between ground
Turn key to
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between G) and
INote Steps II thru IITurn
key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connectingbetween ground Connect meter atTurn key to START position
