If installing two back-to-back seals, use Seal Installer, PIN 326551Apply Gasket Sealing Compound to the metal casing of the seals before installingInstall the inner seal with lip facing toward the bearing housing and install the outer seal with lip facing away from the bearing housingApply Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing
If installing an extended-lip seal, use Seal Installer, PIN 342665Apply oil to the casing of the seal before installingInstall the seal with the exposed lip facing away from the bearing housingPress the seal into the housing until the tool seatsApply Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing
