6Install the locknutReplace locknut if definite resist-

[D] it 7Torque all stern bracket fasteners!
Torque tilt tube nuts to 50-54 ftIbs(68-73 Nm) then loosen one nut by Va to 14 turn Torque screws, stern bracket to trim manifold, to 22-24 ftIbs(30-33 Nm)
