battery cables before proceeding with this
1Disconnect all stator leads
2Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect the ohmmeter between the two stator yellowgray leads: Ohmmeter should show low reading If ohmmeter shows high reading, repair lead between the two yellowgray connectors, or replace stator
3Connect ohmmeter between the yellow and yellowgray stator leads: Ohmmeter should show 0.80-0.90 fl4Connect ohmmeter between the yellow and yellowblue stator leads: Ohmmeter should show 0.80-0.90 fl5Connect ohmmeter between yellowblue and one yellowgray lead: Ohmmeter should show 1.5-1.7 fl DR4817
