Water Pump Servicing20, 25, 30 Disassembly
1Remove gearcase assembly as described in Gearcase Servicing, this Section
2Remove the six impeller housing screws and washers
3Pull up on the driveshaft and remove the driveshaft with the water pump assembly from the gearcaseRemove the water pump assembly from the driveshaft
4Remove the impeller plate and gasketDiscard the gasket
5Scrape all gasket material from the plate and gearcase6Remove the water pump grommet, all O-rings, and the shift rod bushing from the impeller housing7Inspect all components for excessive wearAssembly
