5The connecting rod has no specific orientationSupport the piston in OMC Piston Cradle, PIN 326573Oil the wrist pin bore and wrist pin1sl 6Install the wrist pin through the piston and connecting rod, pushing the tool out through the piston r:;J 101 7Using OMC Cone, PIN 318600, and Driver, PIN 318599, install new wrist pin retaining rings in each wrist pin holeGap of the retaining ring faces down, away from notch in piston8Repeat Steps thru for each piston9Install piston rings on each pistonTapered ring must be installed in top grooveSpread each ring with ring expander just enough to slip it over the head of the piston and down into place
