21Apply Gel-Seal I! the cylinder block flangeThe application must cover the flange evenly and consistently without being excessiveThe application must not come within in (6,4 mm) of the labyrinth seals or bearings
INote Gel-Seal I! has shelf life of at least one year when stored
at room temperatureTest the Gel-Seal II or replace it if the age of the tube can not be determinedUsing old Gel-Seallcould cause crankcase air leaks22Lower the crankcase into place
120 23Lightly coat threads of the six main bearing screws with
OMC Gel-Seall!Install the screws finger tight
24When the crankcase is seated, install and firmly seat the crankcase taper pin25Using soft face mallet, lightly tap bottom of the crankshaft to seat the lower main bearing
