Intake Manifold Servicing, 2030 Removal

1Follow steps listed in Carburetor Removalthis section
rn 2Remove pin from end of throttle control rod rn 3Remove tie strap and disconnect oil recirculation hose 4Remove screws attaching intake manifold to powerheadRemove intake manifold and gasket
rn plate assembly and gasketscrew and carefully remove 5Remove flat head Phillips leaf
Inspection

Do not lift or bend leaf valves by handThis may damage them so that they may not seal properly or may break after the engine is returned to service
1Inspect the leaf plate assemblies for damage:
