Deutsch Connector Servicing
The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same size as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange them
Disconnect
Press latchpull connectors apart
Connect
IT] Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latchedTerminal Removal
Use hook-end of OMC Connector Service Tool, PI 342667, to pullout wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacle]Release terminal latch or
pull on wire
Terminal Installation
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to 1132 in(0,8 mm) below ledge or end of plug
