The port head has temperature switch with two wires, the starboard head has switch with one wire23Rotate cylinder block so that starboard cylinder head surface is facing up and horizontal to the floor24 Repeat Steps 18 and 19 for starboard cylinders25Rotate cylinder block so that crankcase mating flange is facing up26Push all pistons to Top Dead CenterRemove numbered connecting rod caps
27Gently lower crankshaft assembly into place Orient all crankcase seal ring gaps facing up Locate tab on lower bearing seal housing in recess in crankcase
Locate each center main bearing split sleeve on its dowel pin
1201 28Lubricate No.1 crankpin and bearing assemblies with
Evinrude or Johnson Outboard LubricantSlowly pull No1 connecting rod up to crankshaft and install bearings
