Powerhead ServicingAll Models Removal
& To avoid accidental starting of engine, twist and remove all
spark plug leads before beginning service
INote Because ofthe number and types of fasteners (screws and
nuts), it might be appropriate to reinstall fasteners in their holes as engine components are removedThis will simplify identification and assembly1Remove the screw securing the fuel and electrical cover to the lower motor cover2Remove the fuel hose and oil hose from the connectorRemove screw retaining fuel and oil fitting bracket to lower engine cover and remove bracketRemove battery cables from starter solenoid and starter flange3Remove rubber retainers and air silencer
