STEPSTOP CIRCUIT TEST Elimination Test
1Disconnect the port side Packard connector between the power pack and key switch
Avoid electrical shock; do not handle ignition coils or spark tester leads during test
2Crank the engine and observe results at spark tester: If spark now umps alternately at each gap, the problem is in the stop circuitGo to Ohmmeter TestKey Switch If no spark is present, proceed to next step indicated in Troubleshooting Sequence Chart, Page 3-243Complete all circuits disconnected during this testOhmmeter TestKey Switch
INote All ohmmeter tests must be performed with the engine NOT running1Djsconnect the port side Packard connector containing the blackyellow lead2Attach the test adapter to the engine harness connector V4Use test adapter from Kit, PI 437270 V6Use test adapter from Kit, PI 434017 3Install the emergency stop switch clip
