SparkThrottle Pickup Point
1Verify that the spark lever screw is still loose
2With the engine not running, move the spark lever and throttle linkage rearward
rn 3Slowly just touches its roller forward until the move the throttle linkage throttle cam rn 4.lever the throttle linkageroller just touches the spark camHold in position and slowly move the spark forward until the rn 5Carefully tighten the spark lever screw6To verify adjustment, move linkage rearward and then slowly forwardTimer base and carburetor linkage must begin to move at exactly the same time 7Install the timing wheel cover and the air silencer8Install the spark plugs and tighten them to torque of 18-20 ftIbs(24-27 Nm)9Install the throttle cable as described in this section
