Power Supply Troubleshooting Before beginning this procedure: Charge battery and connect battery cables Turn key switch OFF, and remove key Remove clip from emergency stop switchAll tests are made from the RELAY SIDE of the trimtilt relay bracket1Connect voltmeter black lead to clean engine ground2Check for voltage at battery side of starter solenoid: If no voltage, check battery and wiring If voltage, go to Step (or Step 10, if problem is only with tilt downtrim in)UP CIRCUIT 3Mark UP and DOWN relays, and remove relays from relay bracket
4Connect voltmeter red lead to V1 (red) and black lead to V2 (black) If no voltage at V1check red wire between terminal strip and relay bracketIf red wire is OK, check black wire between relay bracket and engine ground If voltage at V1, go to Step 5
