The Touch-Trim TM unit must be serviced as complete No detail parts are availableTo avoid personal injury, do not attempt to disassemble any part of hydraulic unitThe internal components and fluid are under high pressureCable Replacement 1Raise motor to full tilt position and engage tilt supportLower motor until tilt support rests on stern brackets
rv end from lever ballcable from holder and gently pry cable 2Remove Touch-Trim

Lll blySTOP! Do not continue servicingCarefully screw
valve body back into cylinderRemove cylinder and cable as an assembly and replace1!1 4Pull cable up and disconnect ball from slide valve socket5Remove cable from clamp and from cable block on stern bracketRetain cable nut6Slide cable nut down new cable7Loop cable down from lever, up past clamp, across and in front of cylinder, and down port side to valve8Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to cable retainer cavity and cable ball end9Apply light coating of Permatex No2 to external threads of slide valve bodyf31 10Attach cable ball end to slide valvePush down on cable retainer and attach cable nut to valve bodyTorque nut to 36-48 inIbs(4-5 Nm)11Secure cable with cable clampf51 12For initial adjustment, thread ball connector onto cable until cable retainer CAN JUST BE PULLED INTO ALIGNMENT WITH ANCHOR BLOCK ON STERN BRACKET, with ball connector pushed against ball
