8Using punch and mallet, drive out the steel pin that retains he inner handle in the steering handle
Remove the plastic inner handle from the metal outer handle by driving the outer handle off with mallet and punchInner handle is bonded to the outer handleAfter removing, chip away remnants of inner handle
10Remove the throttle cable seal from the inner handleInspection
1Remove protective sleeves and inspect the throttle cable and terminal ires for kinks and wearReplace if necessary2Inspect the steering handle components for wear, cracks, or damageReplace parts if necessaryPut protective sleeves on throttle cable and terminal wires3Refer to Ignition System, Section 3, to test stop switchAssembly
