1Inspect bushing in the timer base and inspect powerhead timer base bossBoth surfaces must be free of dirt, metal chips, and scratchesf512Align adapter with threaded holes in powerheadSlotted area of adapter must face starboard side3Install adapter mounting screwsTorque screws to 48-60 inIbs(5,5-7 Nm)1sl4Apply OMC Moly Lube grease around powerhead boss and timer base bushingand into retainer groove 05Lubricate timer base retainer with outboard lubricant!al6Install retainer in timer base groove with retainer tabs positioned to right of leverSqueeze tabs and insert timer base into adapter1!17Position the three retainer clamps on adapterf'3l8Apply OMC Nut Lock to the three retainer clamp screwsInstall screws and torque them to 25-35 inIbs(2,8-4 Nm)9Connect the timer base 3-pin Amphenol connector
