the battery cables at the batteryRemove lower engine cover, portside
1Disconnect the starter wire at the terminal on the bottom of the starterRemove screw retaining starter bracket to powerhead
rn 2Loosen the top screw under the flywheelthe Remove theside screw retaining the starter motor to powerhead
Remove the starter motorDisassembly
