Checking Propeller Hub Slippage The propeller torque fixture is used to detect slippage between the propeller and hub1There are two sets of holes for mounting the propeller stops to the base and bushing assemblyThe inner hole pattern is used for current outboard models through the 30 modelsInstall the propeller stops in the inner hole pattern2Install stub arbor into bushing in basePlace propeller on stub arbor and insert spline adapter3Install correct socket on torque wrenchSelect the torque value for the model being checked from the torque column on chartThe propeller hub should not slip when the wrench is held at the specified torque
