Electrical Cable Installation Disconnect battery cables before servlcmg electrical systemsFailure to do so could result in injury from ignition sources (sparks) or from contact with moving parts if accidental cranking or starting occursProvide sufficient slack at motor end to permit steering and tilting of motor without binding cables&
1Apply ONIC Triple-Guard grease to shaded area of receptacle2Align arrowsand push connectors together firmly
3Secure the connectors with retainer
4Route the positive (red) battery cable to the starter solenoidSecure the cable to the starter solenoidCover terminal with rubber boot
