Gearcase Lubrication
InTo avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist
and remove all spark plug leadsRemove oil drainfill plug and oil level plug from gearcaseWith motor in normal operating position, allow oil to drain completely
To refill, place tube or pressure can nozzle of CIVIC UltraHPF gearcase lubricant in drainfill hole
INotellf ave Ultra-HPF gearcase lubricant is not available, CIVIC Hi-Vis gearcase lube can be used as an alternate With motor in normal operating position, fill until lubricant appears at oil level hole Install oil level plug before removing lubricant tube or pressure can nozzle from oil drainfill holeDrainfill plug can be installed securely without oil loss Tighten plugs to torque of 84-86 inIbs(9-10 Nm)
