Trim Sending Unit Adjustment It might be necessary to adjust the trim sending unit to coincide with the trim gauge at full trim-up positionTo do this, proceed as follows: 1Turn ignition key to the ON position2Raise the engine with the tilt switch to maximum trim-up position
1321 3Move the angle adjusting rod to the center hole133 4Loosen the sending unit screws until only snug, so the
sending unit can be pivoted5Lower the engine all the way down against the angle adjusting rodr:;;l6Observe the trim gaugeIf the needle does not show center positionadjust the sending unit by pivoting it up or down with screwdriver, until the gauge shows the needle in the center position7Raise the engine and tighten the sending unit screwsLower the engine and recheck the gaugeReadjust if necessary
