14Install the steering shaft keeperApply OMC Loequie Primer and OMC Nut Loekto the splines of the steering shaft and lower mount bracket
15Install the lower mount bracket and new locking nut with its unstaked side facing the mount bracketAlign the bracket with the steering arm and torque the nut to 190-210 ftIbs(258-285 Nm)16Fill the swivel bracket with OMC Triple-Guard grease through he grease fitting on the bracket's port sideLubricate the tilt tube, swivel bracket, and stern brackets through the forward grease fittings17Install the exhaust housing as described in this section
