43Remove thermostat cover and spring 44Remove thermostat assembly and inspect
45To assemble the thermostat, insert pi into vernatherm with convex end of pin facing out
46Position vernatherm in sealPosition retainer and spring in thermostat housing Assemble halves
47Install the thermostat assembly into the cylinder head with the pin end of thermostat facing out48Lightly coat both sides of new thermostat cover gasket with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundPosition the relief spring
