Push fuel hose off fuel fittingsdon't pullIf pushing won't separate hose and fitting, carefully cut the hose along its side and peel it back to avoid damaging the fittings
"Low Oil" Signal complete procedure for testing the VRO$ "low oil" circuit can be found in VRO$ Installation Recommendations, this Section"No Oil" Signal 1Connect shop tank with 50: fueloil mixture to the fuel inlet fitting2Carefully cut oil supply hose from the VRO$ oil inlet fitting3Start the engine and run at 1000 RPM in gear4After the residual oil is exhausted from the VRO$ oil pump, the "no oil" circuit should activate the warning horn The horn should sound V2 second on,

5If the horn does not sound within ten minutes, check for battery voltage at purple lead, VRO$ connector terminal "D", when engine is running, and check the tachometer circuitRefer to RectifierRegulator TestsSection Check the boat's tachometer (if equipped), or connect known good tachometer to the tachometer circuit6If the tachometer circuit and the warning horn circuit are okay, replace the VRO$ pumpWhen testing is complete, be sure all oil hose connections are airtight to avoid possible powerhead damageThe "low oil" and "no oil" signals alert the operator to possible VRO$ system problemsTo prevent possible serious powerhead damage, you must be sure these signals are working
