Maximum Spark Advance Adjustment
1Note Run the engine with the proper test wheelDo not run the
engine with propeller or flushing adapter for the adjustment1Connect timing light to the No.1 cylinder spark plug lead2Start the engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature3Run the engine to minimum of 5000 RPM in FORWARD gear with timer base fully advancedThe engine timing mark must align with the correct degree mark on the flywheel gridSee chart below
