Starter Circuit CheckRemote INote Battery must be fully chargedStep
Check voltage between ground and G)
Procedure
Remove black lead from ground at G) Connect voltmeter between G) and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START position
aIf no reading, go to Step
Steps" thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from ill to prevent starter engagement while making checks
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
Check voltage between ground and key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connecting
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between G) and
