1Remove the propeller and mounting hardwareInspect the propeller for spun hub
rn theDrain the gearcaseInspect the lubricantoil level plug2by first removing the then oil fillidrain plug for water which
will give it milky appearance, or overheating, which will give the lubricant black color and burned odor[[] 3Remove the two anode retaining screws
4Remove the two propeller shaft bearing housing screws and retainers
