1231 25Remove the temperature switch for inspection1241 26Carefully remove the pistons from the cylinder blockProtect the condition of the piston by packing paper towels between the connecting rod and pistonDo not allow the connecting rod to touch the inside of the piston or the cylinder wall
1251 27Using an appropriate ring expander, remove piston rings
from both pistons
1261 28Using tool as drawn on Page 4-8 or OMCRetaining Ring Pliers, PI 325937, remove all wrist pin retaining ringsDiscard
