Ignition Component Replacem entCD IIAmp ill twist and remove all spark plug leads'" 1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing,

1sl2Remove the screws retaining the ignition component that is being replaced
713UFIIf the charge coil or ignition module is being replaced,

separate the bullet connectors underneath the ignition module
[!] 4Remove the wire clamp from the ignition platef1l5Loosen the five ignition plate screwsLift the ignition plate from the powerhead
[!I 6Remove the plate from bottom of the ignition plate7Remove the leads from the spiral wrap and from the ignition component8Apply OMC Ultra Lock to the threads of the component retaining screwsLoosely install the new ignition component on the ignition plateConnect bullet connectors if necessary1al1gl9Route leads and install clamp I! wrap
