Throttle Control Rod
1With the engine not running, ensure that the idle speed screw is against its stop and both carburetor throttle plates are closed[] 2Rotate the thumb wheel counterclockwise on the throttle control rod to obtain 0.020 in(0,5 mm) gap between the throttle cam and cam follower3Tighten the jam nut against throttle cam yoke and verify gapWide Open Throttle Stop
1With the engine not running, advance the throttle lever to wide open position
2The carburetor throttle shaft pins must be exactly vertical at wide open throttle
