Hydraulic Unit Servicing Removal 1Raise the motor and engage the trailering levers2Remove the blue and green wires from pump motor connector housing
]] 3Remove the spring clip from the cylinder pin4Thread OtIC Slide Hammer Adaptor, PIN 340624 (8)onto OtIC Slide Hammer, PI 391008 Screw the adaptor into the cylinder pin and remove the pin5Remove one of the 3f4 inlocknuts from the angle adjustment rodRemove the rod from the stern brackets6Remove the unit from the stern brackets far enough to remove the ground lead from the pump motor mounting screw
Disassembly Thoroughly clean unit before disassemblingScrub all outside surfaces with stiff bristle brush and hot soapy waterThis will prevent dirt particles or other foreign matter from entering the unit while you are working on itavoid injury when removing check valves, be sure to keep shop cloth covering them until the pressure is releasedWear safety glassesAlways use "lint free" shop cloth when handling hydraulic components
