Water Pump Servicing Disassembly 1Remove gearcase assembly as described in Gearcase Servicing, this Section
2Remove and discard seal3.Remove the six impeller housing screws
4Pull up on the driveshaft and remove the driveshaft with the water pump assembly from the gearcaseRemove the water pump assembly from the driveshaft
5Remove the impeller plate gasket
and gasket Discard the
6Scrape all gasket material from the plate and gearcase7Remove the water pump grommet, all -rings, and the shift rod bushing from the impeller housing8Inspect all components for excessive wearAssembly 1Oil and install the shift rod bushing housing21219
into the impeller
