INotel When installing Q1C Accessory Controls, except for prewi red surface mount, the shift cable must be adjusted and installed when the control and engine are in NEUTRALThrottle Cable]1Extend throttle cable and lubricate with Q1C Triple-Guard grease2Verify that the fast idle lever is down in the RUN position3While rotating the propeller shaft, move the remote control handle from NEUTRAL to the FORWARD detent and then halfway back to NEUTRALThis positions the control for proper throttle cable adjustmentI Note Failure to follow this procedure exactly might cause accelerated wear of shift system components and high shifting effort
