Throttle Plate Synchronization
1Remove the air silencer
2Use 56 inball-hex driver to turn the cam follower adjustment screw counterclockwise until the cam and cam follower are NOT touching
[] 3Use No20 Torx driver to loosen the two carburetor link screws
4Verify that all throttle plates are completely closed5Apply light downward pressure to tabs of adjusting links and tighten first the lower then the upper carburetor link screwsIdle Timing
INote The boat and engine must be in the water under normal
operating conditions with the correct propeller installedThe boat's movement must be unrestrainedThe boat must not be tied to dock or trailer1Separate the temperature switch whiteblack lead connectorUse jumper to connect the ignition module side of the lead to clean engine groundThis will disable the QuikStart's cold-start feature, preventing an inaccurate timing reading2Connect the spark plug leads
