using Snap-on pliers SPR3, or equivalent
1441 26Clean and inspect all the components of the trim-up relief
451 27Remove the three large electric motor retaining screws
and washersRemove the electric motor from the manifold
motors on the power trimtilt unitAll motors have an O-ring on the base which needs to be inspected upon disassemblyAny of these motors may be used for replacement, but internal components may not be interchangedSet the motor aside until disassembly is requiredthe filter sideways while prying the tab out of the pocket in the manifoldClean the oil pump filter carefully
