26 16With cylinder body in vise, unscrew trim cylinder end caps using OMC Trim Cylinder End Cap Removerl lnstaller, PIN 436710, or OMC Universal Spanner Wrench, PIN 912084, and breaker barYou will have to use smaller pins in spanner wrenchRemove both trim pistons, rods, and end caps27 17Inspect both bores of trim cylinders for excessive scoring2S 18Remove back-up rings and a-ring from each trim piston29 19Using OMCRod Holder, PI 983213, clamp rod tightly in viseRemove wear plate from trim rod and remove end capRemove from vise30
aUsing screwdriver, carefully pry the scraper out of the end cap and discard bRemove the inner quad-ring with suitable tooland remove the outer a-ring Discard quad-ring and a-ringcLubricate new quad ring and scraper and install in the end capInstall scraper with bevel facing out
