Disassembly
To separate the adapter and the inner exhaust housing assembly from the outer exhaust housing, remove the front two rubber thrust mount screws and five retaining screws
19l 2Remove the remaining thrust mount screwLift the mount
EJ plate and pry the mount from the adapterr:tQl 3The inner exhaust housing and the water tube are attached to the adapter with five screwsIf necessary to disassemble, remove the five screws and lift the inner exhaust housing from the adapterDiscard the gasket
4The water tube and water tube grommet can be removed from the base of the inner exhaust housingAssembly

Place the upper thrust mount into the adapterPosition radius side of the mount facing aft and "TOP" mark facing
2Place the mount plate onto the thrust mountf13l 3Apply OMC Nut Lock to threads of the small thrust mount screwHand tighten the screw in rear holef101 4Check the condition of the seal on the inner exhaust housing and replace if necessaryApply OMC Adhesive Mto seal surface of the housing before installing new seal5Apply OMC Adhesive to the outside diameter of new grommet and position the water tube and water tube grommet in the base of the inner exhaust housing6Place new inner exhaust housing gasket on the adapterDo not use sealer on the gasketApply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to threads ofthe inner exhaust housing screwsInstall the inner exhaust housingTorque the screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
