STEPRUNNING OUTPUT TEST
1Twist and remove all primary leads from ignition coilsr:J5l 2.atwist to install Stevens Instrument NoTS-77 terminal extenders, or equivalent, on Ignition coli primary postsr:J5l 3Install primary leads on terminal extendersObserve proper wire routingConnect orangeblue lead to No.1 coil, orangepurple lead to No.2 coil, orangegreen lead to No3 coil, and orangepink lead to No.4 coilINotel Route all tester leads so they do not interfere with moving engine parts4Set peak-reading voltmeter to "POS" and "500"r:J5l 5C.onnect voltmeter red lead to No.1 terminal extenderConnect meter black lead to clean engme ground6Start engine and run under load at RPM where ignition problem exists Meter must show 230 volts or higher7Repeat Steps and for remaining cylinders If one or more cylinders show low output, go to STEPCHARGE COIL TEST If one or more cylinders show no output, go to STEPSENSOR COIL TEST8Remove terminal extenders and install ignition coil primary leadsObserve proper wire routing Connect orangeblue lead to No.1 coil, orangepurple lead to No.2 coil, orangegreen lead to No.3 coiland orangepink lead to No.4 coil
