Installation 1Carefully inspect the crankcase head and timer base bushing for dirt, metal chips, or scratches2Apply light coating of OMC Moly Lube to the crankcase head bearing surface and the timer base bushingf4l 3Lubricate the retainer ring groove with Evinrude or Johnson Outboard Lubricant1sl 4Lightly compress the retainer ring and install the timer t=.J baseRoute and connect the timer base leadsrJl 5Install the retaining clips and screwsTighten the screws to torque of 25-35 inIbs(3-4 Nm)6Install the stator and charge coil assemblyRefer to Stator Servicing -==-==-=-
