Starter Circuit Check, 2030 Remote
INote Battery must be fully chargedStep Procedure Remove black lead from ground at G)Connect voltmeter between G) and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at Turn key to START positionResult aIf no reading, go to Step
D Check voltage between ground and G)Steps II thru IIRemove
starter to solenoid cable from ment while making checks
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
(i) to prevent starter engage-
II Check voltage between ground
aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between G) and
INote Steps II thru IITurn
key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connectingConnect meter at Turn key to START position
