3Remove retaining ring with snap-ring pliersWear safety glasses and proceed with care to avoid unsnapping the ring from the pliers4Remove O-rings from housing and discard&
5Warm bearing housing with propane torch to aid in removal of upper seal carrier
INotel Do not apply too much heat as seals or carrier may be
damaged
6Allow bearing housing to cool until it is warm to the touch
7Place bearing housing assembly in pressPress from the impeller end ofthe driveshaft until the seal carrier is free from the housingContinue to press bearings and driveshaft from bearing housing
