1Insert the stop button leads and the throttle cable through the lower engine cover grommet2Apply OMC Tripe-Guard grease to the two steering handle bushingsPlace the bushings into the steering bracketAttach the steering handle to the steering bracketf61 3the the steering handle can be pivoted and maintain any position4Slide the protective sleeve over the stop button leads1s1 5Secure stop button ground lead to bottom ignition coil mounting screwTighten screw to torque of 48-96 inIbs(5,4-10,8 Nm)fJ1 6Using OMC Insert Tool, PI 322697, install the stop button lead into the plugConnect the 1-pin Ampheno connectorSecure connector with wire retainer
