Installation 1Install the flywheel key:
9.915Install the key with its outer edge parallel to taper of crankshaft 20 thru 30Install the key with its outer edge parallel to centerline of crankshaft and single upset mark facing down
2Clean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with OMC Cleaning Solvent and let dryThese surfaces must be clean and dry to allow proper locking of the tapers3Align the flywheel keyway and install flywheelCoat the threads of the flywheel nut with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundInstall the nut and torque to the correct valueSee chart belowFlywheel Nut Torque Chart
