26 16With cylinder body in vise, unscrew trim cylinder end caps using OMC Trim Cylinder End Cap Removerllnstaller, PIN 436710, or OMCUniversal Spanner Wrench, PIN 912084, and breaker barYou will have to use smaller pins in spanner wrenchRemove both trim pistons, rods, and end caps27 17Inspect both bores oftrim cylinders for excessive scoring28 18Remove back-up rings and a-ring from each trim piston29 19Using OMCRod Holder, PIN 983213, clamp rod tightly in viseRemove wear plate from trim rod and remove end cap Remove from viseaUsing screwdriver, carefully pry the scraper out of the end cap and discard32 bRemove the inner quad-ring with suitable tooland remove the outer a-ring Discard quad-ring and a-ringcLubricate new quad ring and scraper and instal in the end capInstall scraper with bevel facing outdLubricate new a-ring and install on the outside ofthe end capeLubricate new a-ring and two new back-up ringsInstall a-ring on the piston Place one ring on each side of the a-ringPosition open end of back-up rings 1800 apart1
