Terminal Installation
1Connect the plug and receptacle before installing the terminalApply isopropyl alcohol to the plug and receptacleAlign arrows and carefully insert the plug into the receptacle2Apply isopropyl alcohol to the terminal cavity
Use only OMC Insert Tool, PIN 322697, to install terminalsTo avoid injury, securely hold insert tool against shoulder of terminal while inserting terminals
[] 3Position the insert tool terminal
against the
shoulder
[] 4Rest the connector against solid surfaceWith the insert tool firmly against its shoulder, insert the leading tip of the terminal into its cavityPush the terminal until step ofthe insert tool reaches the connector body, seating the terminal[] 5Check your workSeparate the connector and look at the terminal you just insertedIf it is properly seated, apply isopropyl alcohol to both connector halves and reconnect themIf the terminal did not seat, remove it and repeat the procedure[] 6Secure the connector with wire retainer
